Salomé Mateus
master student
I’m currently on my Master’s in Cognitive and Social Psychology at Faculdade de Psicologia, ULisboa. During my Bachelor’s, I engaged in cognitive neuroscience projects on object recognition at the Proaction Lab (University of Coimbra), which equipped me with important research methodology tools.
Right now, I’m focusing on applying behavioral science to design community-driven products and interventions. I’m gaining practical experience through my internship at CLOO Behavioral Insights Unit, as well as contributing to social impact projects in collaboration with Community Insights Group (CIG).
I am also working on my Master’s thesis, related to the role of emotional valence and personal experience on memory similarity for public events, with the supervision of Professor Ana Raposo.
Beyond academia, I enjoy exploring my creativity with photography, video, music and poetry.
