The Extraordinary PhD Award by the Autonomous University of Barcelona has been attributed to Mariona Pascual on her thesis “Children at-risk of writing difficulties”.
This award confers value to theses that have stood out for their contribution and advance in the different areas of the University, Education in this case. The thesis offered a resource to implement in impoverished educational environments at risk of social exclusion or without adequate psychometric measures, where psycho-pedagogical teams can resort to the proposed protocol to detect and help those students at risk of writing difficulties.
